What is BML Rewards?

BML Rewards is a comprehensive Loyalty Program from BML that lets your earn points when you spend on your credit card. Points can be redeemed with over 945 airlines, 650,000 hotels, and car rentals or through shopping Gift Cards.

Who is BML Rewards offered to?

The BML Rewards Program is offered only to BML Credit Cardholders.

How do I register to BML Rewards?

If you have an active BML Credit Card, you are eligible for the BML Rewards program. To start earning and redeeming points, you need to register. Simply visit to activate your account.
The information used for registration should be identical to the information in your Personal Information form. If your details do not match, BML Rewards will not allow you to access your account.

  • If either your email address or mobile number is not updated with us, please update through Internet Banking.

  • If neither your email address nor mobile number is updated with us, you can email an updated Personal Information form to

Upon successful registration, a confirmation SMS and e-mail will be sent to your registered mobile number & email address respectively.

Can Expatriate customers register to BML Rewards?

Yes, Expatriate customers can register to BML Rewards. When registering to BML Rewards, please add a ‘P’ before the passport number.

Is my e-mail address and mobile number required for my BML Rewards account?

It is mandatory to provide a valid and up to date email address and mobile number during the registration process. This helps us to send you booking confirmations or itinerary/receipts to your e-mail address.

How do I earn points?

Points are earned automatically every time you use your credit card and you will be able to see the points earned on your Account Summary on the BML Rewards website. Please allow up to 24 hours for the points earned to be reflected on your statement.

What is the validity of my BML Rewards points?

Your BML Rewards points are valid for 3 years. The points will expire on the last calendar day of the quarter ending 3 years.

Where can I find my BML Rewards Summary?

You can view your BML Rewards account summary in the My Account section on the BML Rewards website.

How do I redeem BML Rewards points?

You can redeem your points for free flights, free hotel stays, free car rentals or gift cards by logging in to BML Rewards portal and selecting your preferred redemption option.

What can I do with my earned points?

You can redeem your points for flights, hotels, car rentals and gift cards. We will continue to add more redemption offers to ensure all your needs are met with us.

On what airlines, hotels and products can I redeem BML Rewards points?

You can redeem your points for booking with more than 945 airlines, 650,000 hotels worldwide and car rental in over 150 countries, and shopping gift cards from a range of products through BML Rewards website.

When can I start redeeming my BML Rewards?

You can start redeeming your points as soon as you have completed the registration on BML Rewards portal and have accumulated enough BML Rewards points for redemption.

Can I combine BML Rewards points and cash to redeem rewards?

No, the minimum required points are needed for redemption. Cash cannot be combined with points currently.


Do I have to register online on in order to use BML Rewards Portal for point accrual and redemption?

Yes, registration is mandatory to earn and redeem points. However, you can access all the features and functionalities of the website without registration.

How long is my BML Rewards membership valid?

You can access the BML Rewards as long as your eligible credit card is active.

Can I have more than one BML Rewards account?

No, you can only have one account on BML Rewards website. All your eligible credit cards will be linked to this account. Your Account Summary will show all your points earned through all your credit cards.

I forgot the "Username" or "Password" of my BML Rewards account. Can I reset it?

If you forget your BML Rewards account username or password, click the "forgot username" and "forgot password" menu on the BML Rewards account login page.

How is BML Rewards different from any other 'airline points' program?

BML Rewards is a reward program that can be used to redeem a range of rewards just for using your credit card. You earn points for transactions performed on your credit card and redeem your points for flights, hotels, and car rental or gift cards.

Can I use my BML Internet Banking username and password to log-in and use BML Rewards Portal?

No, the BML Rewards portal does not contain any information provided to BML Internet Banking or Mobile Banking. BML Rewards is a different website managed by our third-party vendor, Giift.


Do I have to pay anything for booking the redemption tickets and hotel bookings?

There are no separate redemption charges for BML Rewards.

Can I redeem my BML Rewards points for ticket and hotel bookings for my family or friends?

Yes, you can redeem your BML Rewards points for family members and friends.

How do I know my airline or hotel booking or product purchase was confirmed?

You will receive a confirmation e-mail and SMS.

What if I don't get a confirmation at the time of booking?

If you do not receive a confirmation through e-mail and SMS, please contact us and we'll send you your confirmation details. To contact us, please send a message through BML Internet Banking or through our website.

Do I earn points for existing airline/hotel reward programs?

Yes, you can present your credentials for the airline rewards at the time of check-in to earn points for this booking.

What is the proof that I have redeemed points?

After you exchange BML Rewards, you will get a redemption confirmation via email. The transaction will also be listed in the transaction history menu on your BML Rewards Account Summary.

My points do not add up after making a transaction. How do I verify this?

You can send a mail through BML Internet Banking to verify details. As the BML Rewards portal is managed by a third party, please allow 2 working days for the Bank to check.

How many days will it take to get my Gift Voucher delivered?

Your Gift Voucher details will be emailed within 24 hours on your registered email address (subject to availability of stock). More details can be found on that email.

What if I want to exchange my Gift Voucher?

Once an order has been placed it cannot be exchanged.

What do I do if I have not received the Gift Voucher within 24 hours?

You can email us at mentioning the details and your membership ID.

What if my Gift Voucher lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed?

Bank Rewards will not be responsible if a Gift Voucher is lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed and no replacement or refund of Union Rewards points will be provided in any circumstance.

Is there a way I can cancel my order?

Once the Gift Voucher is purchased, a voluntary cancellation is not permitted. Hence, Bank Rewards Points will not be refunded for the cancellation.

How many days will it take to get my reward merchandise delivered?

It normally takes about 1-2 working weeks for reward merchandise to be delivered. However, this may vary depending on availability of stock.

What if the product reaches my mentioned delivery address when I am away or not available?

In this case, the delivery service would re-attempt to deliver the product three times. So, kindly ensure your availability. Note that the following options are available to receive the product.

  • Collect the product from the courier company.

  • Arrange a delivery according to your convenient date & time. In this case, delivery charges will be levied, which can be either paid directly to the delivery service or if you have enough points, those will be debited from your reward account.

Is the Delivery free of charge?

The cost of shipping would be included in the points utilized for redemption. However, it would vary according to the merchandise/product selected. You should not pay any more to the delivery person upon delivery of the goods.

Do you deliver items outside Maldives?

No, all items are delivered only within Maldives.

Do I need to activate my DragonPass membership before using it?

If you received your DragonPass membership from Issuer that comes along with a Membership No. and Activation Code, you will need to activate your DragonPass membership by following the activation instructions in the App.

How can I find a participating airport lounge in my location?

Select your airport location using the search field at the top of the App’s home page. When you click on the lounge icon you will see a list of the lounges available in that location. You can also view the whole lounge list on the website, but the App allows you to view available lounges for each membership in case your Issuer have customized list for you.

Can I access a lounge without my membership?

No. In order to access a lounge you will need to present your digital membership/physical membership.

Do I need to book in advance to access airport lounges?

There isn’t a need to book in advance. Simply just present your membership via our mobile app to the lounge staff on arrival. Prior to your visit, you can use our mobile or website to check on the lounge operation hours.

Can I use DragonPass service regardless of the airlines/high speed trains and class of my ticket?

Yes, you can use DragonPass service regardless of who you are travelling with (Airlines/Trains) and the class of your ticket as long you have a valid DragonPass membership.

Can I bring guests or children to the airport lounge?

Each lounge has its own policies regarding guests and children. Please check the lounge information in the lounge description provided in the App. If the lounge permits guests, please do take note that you will need to have sufficient visit toped up in your membership as one visit will be deducted from it for each guest accessing the lounge.

What is the validity of my lounge membership?

The validity of membership is mentioned in the voucher email.

Are terms & conditions mentioned on each points exchange?

All terms and conditions are mentioned / can be read before redeeming the points.

Is there a way I can cancel my points exchange?

Once the order is placed, cancellation is not permitted. Hence, no reward points will be refunded for the same.
