BML Rewards is provided through a third-party partnership with Gift Management DMCC.
Participation:

All Bank of Maldives employees who are cardholders of American Express, Mastercard or Visa Credit card(s) issued by Bank of Maldives Pte Ltd (“BML”) may participate in the program except corporate credit cardholders.

Eligible customers can register on the BML Rewards website to participate in this program. Participation is completely voluntary.

Eligible customers will need to have current and updated Personal Information Form including email address and mobile number.

For Supplementary cards, the primary card holder will receive points for the transactions. Supplementary card holder will not be able to register or receive points for the transactions separately.

If the cardholder’s card is terminated and/or suspended at any time, for any reason, whether by the cardholder or by BML, the cardholder and the supplementary cardholder will be disqualified from participating in BML Rewards and all unused loyalty point accrued shall be cancelled immediately and no longer be available for use by the cardholder. Points are non-transferable.

If a Supplementary Card is terminated at any time for any reason, the primary cardholder shall not be disqualified from participating in BML Rewards

Customer will lose access to the programme if the customer is no longer deemed to be credit worthy. The customer will resume full access to redemption and use previously earned points, once all accounts are cleared.

Program participation will automatically end if the customer no longer has an account at BML and/or the customer dies and/or the customer is declared not entitled to collect or exchange points by BML for committing fraud in collecting BML Rewards or violating other banking regulations. In such cases, BML is fully entitled to cancel the customer's participation in this program.
Earn and Redeem:
Redemption:

BML Rewards points may be used, subject to the terms in these Terms and Conditions, only by the cardholder to redeem any of the options available on the BML Rewards website.
- BML will reward the selected redemption option subject to availability and provided that the customer has sufficient BML Rewards points for the redemption.

Only electronic redemption Gift Cards will be issued via email to the registered email address given to BML. Customers are not permitted to request for hard copies to be sent via other types of mail/ mail service.

BML Rewards points cannot be transferred to cash

The use of any redemption options shall constitute a purchase of goods or services by the person using the Gift Card from the Merchant supplying the goods or services. BML assumes no liability or responsibility whatsoever for the quality of goods/services received from the Merchant. Any disputes about quality or performance of the goods and/or services should be resolved directly with the Merchant.
General :

Customers remain subject to and must comply with the terms and conditions relating to banking activities determined by BML, including applicable laws and regulations.

BML can make changes at any time related to the terms and conditions, without prior notice.

Decisions, provisions, and amendments to the provisions made by BML cannot be contested.

Customers are required to maintain the confidentiality and security of BML Rewards accounts including electronic devices and communications used to access BML Rewards accounts.

BML has the right to carry out maintenance activities and or changes in technical specifications and access to BML Rewards.

All losses and/or claims arising as a result of negligence and/or negligence of the customer in maintaining the security of BML Rewards account passwords and supporting devices used to access BML Rewards accounts so that they can be used by irresponsible parties and cause financial losses are is the customer's responsibility.

Product and/or transaction terms and conditions and/or others not regulated in these terms and conditions will follow the terms and conditions that apply to each product/transaction.

BML has the right to refuse, cancel the redeem BML Rewards or temporarily block the BML Rewards account of customers who commit violations/omissions such as customer BML Rewards indicated obtained from unnatural transactions.

Every refusal, cancellation of gift redemption or blocking of BML Rewards accounts will be notified by BML to customers in the form and manner determined by BML.

Every customer complaint can be submitted through messaging on BML Internet Banking.

Complaints can be submitted no later than 14 (fourteen) calendar days from the redemption of BML Rewards Points. Complaints will not be followed up if received by BML after more than 14 calendar days.

Program participation will automatically end if the customer no longer has an account at BML and/or the customer dies and/or the customer is declared not entitled to collect or exchange points by BML for committing fraud in collecting BML Rewards or violating other banking regulations. In this case, BML is fully entitled to cancel the customer's participation in this program.
